*This is (almost) a direct copy of my Blogger post today*
I was just getting used to it at blogger.
I was learning to manipulate my page.
I liked that I could type my post in HTML rather than use a restrictive editor.
I had found a decent proportion of the ex-JSers.
I also liked the fact that there are so many other journals here besides the ex-JSers.
Then the ‘new’ JS appears.
It looks like the bastard son of MySpace and FaceBook (while one of them was having a fling with WordPress).
I opened an account here (obviously), but I’m not sure whether I’ll be using it much yet.

**Hmmmm…. it would appear that you can’t post YouTube videos here :-(**

I DID! I DID!!
But it sure looks empty around here!
I feel better over at blogspot right now, I don’t even feel like trying to figure out how to post photo’s. Not today . . . maybe later, I dunno.
I takes so much time to start something like this all over, right now I don’t know if I have the energy. But I will keep my blog here, so I can stay in touch.
There’s a also this funny feeling about this situation: Like we all have been through a terrible accident which we survived, and now people are gathering together like half-drowned mice on a new ferry . . . LOL!

I too was struggling about what to do, so I think I will stay on here more to catch up with old js users, because i really like my new blog, and how to use that, it appears js going down really showed me that i needed to blog elsewhere. but who knows how this place will grow, i say just see how this place comes about, but be prepared to stick with your new blogger site, you may never like js like you did before ever again . i dont think it will ever be close to the same. things will be very different here.

I hadn’t gotten as comfortable as you had at blogspot, but I’m not sure about here either. I do like the homepage though. I’m still Drewsbird, here, there or anywhere.
Good morning, babe!

That thing with the videos is driving me crazy. It might be a deal breaker for this place. From what I’ve read there may be a plugin that will allow for that, but I don’t understand why everything has to be so hard when using WP.

Yeah..NOW what? Maybe the whole on-line thing is a waste of time. Who’s running this one?

It looks like a lot of us feel the same. I love the image of mice huddling on a ferry.

I’m having fun with some of the features. The homepage especially. They are taking our suggestions and I think each day they will change some things and make it more to our liking. I’m glad you aren’t just deleting like some people are. I don’t get that. It all takes time.

Hi LG ,
I was muddling along, but have explored around and found neat things,
and learned how to do things.
I feel much the same as others in the comments here, too, but am taking it one day at a time.
The site just got made, so it’s gonna get better!
I hope we can add the videos in too, from UTube because I’m just learning how to make movies!!
Be safe and warm,
~Sunny

I’m here. I read. I agree with you. I got an account, but I don’t know that I’ll use it for anything more than a place to backup my blogspot journal entries. I just don’t know.
I really don’t like that all you can do is post a link to a YouTube video.
I’m trying to give it a fair shake though.

I like blogspot, the fact you have ONE account with as many blogs as you want is much nicer…
until they have privacy settings I won’t be posting much here…I find I don’t miss the home page but I do miss knowing when someone updates so you can read them…but I don’t miss being followed around by the busy body militant
Happy Hump Day!
